The scion of a distinguished literary family, Justice (r) Haziq ul Khairi founded the law firm in 1958. Alongside practicing law as an advocate of the High Courts and Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Khairi taught at the Sindh Muslim Law College where he also served as Principal for a period of more than 7 years (1981-1988).

Justice Khairi was elevated as Judge of Sindh High Court in 1988. After retirement from High Court, he served as Provincial Ombudsman of Sindh (1999-2003) and as Member Council of Islamic Ideology (2003-2006). Justice Khairi was then appointed as Chief Justice of Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan, an office he held from 2006 till 2009.

He has to his credit three books i.e. Guzarti Shab (1961), Jaagte Lamhe (2012) and Wo Aadmi (2016).
